Erik Sønsterud joined Elkjøp Nordic in 2017 as CFO and was appointed CEO of the company in June 2019. Sønsterud joined Elkjøp from the Møller Mobility Group and also brings extensive experience from oil services, the technology sector and business consultancy. Sønsterud earned his MSc degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management (BI) and is a certified public accountant.
As Managing Director for Elgiganten AB, Niclas Eriksson is responsible for all commercial activities in Sweden. He was promoted to the position in 2012, having previously held the role of Operations Manager in Sweden. Eriksson first joined the company in 1995 and has held several key positions within sales and retail management. Eriksson holds a degree in Engineering from the Norrköping Institute of Technology.
As Chief Transformation Officer, Marianne Nøkleby is responsible for corporate strategy, business development, project management, indirect sourcing, financial services and sustainability. Nøkleby first joined Elkjøp in 1992 and has held various positions within the commercial domain. Prior to taking on her current role in 2019, she held the position of Chief Commercial Officer for 15 years. Nøkleby graduated from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Lill Beate Pedersen is responsible for the Nordic finance function, which includes accounting and reporting, business analysis, performance management, business controlling, tax and treasury. She joined Elkjøp Nordic in 2020 from Atea, bringing with her 20 years of experience in finance management and business development from several industries in Norway and internationally. Pedersen holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Stein Riibe is responsible for human resources, PR & communications, compliance and legal activities. He joined Elkjøp in 2014 and has more than 20 years of experience in HR and organisational development from a wide range of industries, including oil services, healthcare and facility services. Riibe holds a law degree from the University of Oslo.
As Managing Director for Elgiganten AS, Peder Stedal heads all commercial operations in Denmark. Stedal first joined the group in 1996 and has held a number of positions within retail operations and commercial, both in Denmark and other European countries, including Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. Stedal was appointed to his current position in 2012.
Morten Syversen was promoted to the position of Chief Brand & Digital Officer in 2019. He has overall responsibility for brand and marketing, including digital, insight & analytics and e-commerce activities. Syversen joined the company in 1998 and has held a number of commercial positions within the organisation at both the Nordic level and internationally. Prior to his current role, Syversen was Nordic Category Director for Computing since 2012. He holds an MSc degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
As Managing Director of Gigantti OY, Laura Tarkka is responsible for all commercial activities in Finland. Tarkka joined the company in 2020 and boasts a broad leadership background that includes hospitality, healthcare services, food service and investment banking. Prior to her current role, Tarkka was CEO of the Kamp Collection Hotels. She holds an MSc degree in Engineering from the Lappeenranta University of Technology.
Fredrik Tønnesen was appointed Managing Director for Elkjøp Norge AS in 2017, leading all commercial activities in Norway. Tønnesen first joined Elkjøp in 2006 and has held a number of sales and operations management positions within the company. Prior to his current role, Tønnesen was Nordic Category Director for the kitchen segment. Tønnesen holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Per Wernersson’s responsibilities include retail operations, SC & logistics, real estate and store concepts, customer support and after-sale services, as well as the Nordic IT organisation. Wernersson joined the company in 2013 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2015. He has worked in the retail industry since 1991 and have held leadership roles in several companies in the Nordic consumer electronics market. Prior to his current role, Wernersson was the head of Elkjøp's former business in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He holds an MSc degree in Engineering from The Linköping Institute of Technology.
Andreas Westgaard joined Elkjøp in 2011 as the Nordic Buying Director for Consumer Electronics and was later promoted to Category Director for Consumer Electronics. He was appointed Chief Commercial Officer in October 2019, leading the cross Nordic procurement and sales organisation for B2C and B2B. Westgard has more than 25 years of industry experience, including Nordic leadership positions at LG and Sony.
