The head office is based in new, state-of-the-art premises in Nydalen, Oslo. We have an excellent canteen, and our own gym as well as a long list of employee benefits such as favorable prices on the products we sell, as well as good employee insurance schemes.
Academy and CAMPUS
Our knowledge and ability to give advice – helping our customers to make the right choice for them – is what makes us stand out from our competitors. That is why we invest more than 60 million NOK each year in training and education programs for all our coworkers. This again gives great career opportunities and possibilities to grow and develop fast in our organisation.
Around 400 trainings in our digital learning system Academy are accessible to every co-worker, and more than 150.000 trainings are completed each year. Academy allows you to follow your own development and have a full overview of what it takes to take your next step in your career.
Once a year, we invite around 1000 suppliers and almost 6000 Elkjøp coworkers for a large gathering at Gardermoen, called CAMPUS. Over a period of one month this makes up the largest consumer electronics trade fair in the whole Nordics, where coworkers get the chance to test and learn about the latest in electronics before it hit the shelves. CAMPUS is also an event to meet, connect and of course socialize across all our Nordic markets and units.
